Cyprus’ Health Minister, Michalis Damianos is traveling to Muscat on Sunday to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Cyprus and Oman in the fields of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical science and health innovation with his Omani counterpart, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, Damianos is traveling to Oman at the invitation of his counterpart, Dr Al Sabti for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries in the fields of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical science and health innovation.
‘The Memorandum provides for the exchange of knowledge, experts, scientific material and information and the promotion of cooperation between health institutions of the two countries,’ it said.
While in Oman, Damianos will visit the Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center, it adds.
