The heart-wrenching performances of Dennis Trillo in ‘Green Bones’ and Arisa Nakano in ‘Kono Basho’ earned them the top acting plums at the 48th Gawad Urian Awards, emerging as the Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively.
Also recognized at the awards ceremony is the JL Burgos-helmed ‘Alipato at Muog,’ bringing home the Best Editing and Best Documentary plums.
Organized by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino, the 48th iteration of the Gawad Urian Awards recognized the best of local film at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium in De La Salle University-Manila on Saturday, Oct. 11.
