Power transmission operations have returned to normal in Luzon on Sunday, said the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), following the effects of Tropical Storm Ramil (international name: Fengshen).
The NGCP made the pronouncement in an advisory after announcing the restoration of the Gumaca-Atimonan 69-kilovolt line at 1:50 p.m.
‘NGCP’s transmission lines and facilities are under normal operations,’ the NGCP said.
Ramil was last spotted 85 kilometers west-northwest of Iba, Zambales, with six areas still under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2.
Meanwhile, 27 other areas remain at Signal No. 1. /mr
