Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has expressed delight after returning to Fenerbahçe and meeting officials and staff of his former club.
Emenike enjoyed two spells with the Turkish giants and remains popular with the club’s supporters.
‘I feel great. Being here brings me immense joy,’ Emenike said. ‘I’m delighted that the bond between our fans and me is still going strong.’
The former Nigeria international said he continues to maintain contact with Fenerbahçe supporters and described the club as one big family.
Emenike helped Fenerbahçe win the Turkish Sper Lig in the 2013-14 season and also lifted the Turkish Super Cup during his time with the Istanbul club.
